Our commitment

Dirigo Interactive helps organizations build digital experiences that everyone can use. We hold our own website to the same standard we set for the clients we serve. Accessibility is not a feature we added once and moved on from. It is a practice we maintain.

We are committed to making this website usable for people with disabilities, including those who navigate with screen readers, keyboards, voice control, screen magnification, and other assistive technologies. When something on our site falls short, we want to know, and we will fix it.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define how to make web content more accessible. Dirigo Interactive measures this website against WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the current standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium and the benchmark most closely aligned with ADA and Section 508 expectations.

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means most of the content meets the standard, and we are actively resolving the areas that do not. We choose this honest framing on purpose. A credible accessibility claim names what is done, what remains, and how the gap is being closed. We would rather show you the work than overstate the result.

Measures we take

Accessibility is built into how we work, not bolted on at the end. To keep this site conformant, we:

  • Test against WCAG 2.2 Level AA using a combination of automated tooling and manual review, because automated scans alone catch only a portion of real barriers.
  • Evaluate the site with assistive technologies, including screen readers and keyboard-only navigation.
  • Review new pages, components, and content for accessibility before they go live.
  • Treat accessibility as a standing part of our maintenance cycle rather than a one-time audit.

This is the same discipline we bring to client engagements. Do the work once. Do it right.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are aware of the following and are working to resolve each one:

  • Some older documents and downloadable files may not meet current accessibility standards. If you need an accessible version of any document, contact us and we will provide one promptly.
  • Certain third-party or embedded content (such as maps, forms, or media hosted by outside providers) may not fully conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, as it is not always under our direct control. Where this affects you, we will offer an accessible alternative.

If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, please tell us. Your report helps us find and fix issues faster.

How this statement was prepared
